Plato Lodge Accommodation in Augrabies
Accommodation consists of five double bedrooms (twin beds on request) with double showers and a balcony. Rooms look onto the most unbelievable view of the mountains, river and up again to the point where the plateau forms the background.
The lodge uses solar power and is as environmentally friendly as possible. We offer B&B accommodation and undercover parking in a safe environment. Visitors can relax in our spacious braai & leisure area with a bar and a beautiful view.

Activities at Plato Lodge
Fly Fishing: Plato Lodge is the ultimate destination for fishing the Orange river. Stay at the Lodge and fishing during the day on the Orange. Our river site offer 2 nice rapids with very deep pools surrounded. A weir with a rapid is also accessible from our property.
Flyfishing is the most popular. The rapids, deep pools is ideal for flyfishing for the big and small mouth Yellow fish. Normal bait fishing is also very good for the Barber(catfish) Small mouth yellow and blue curb(Talapia).
Hiking & Mountain Biking: Enjoy the intimacy with nature with friends on one of our walking trails. You can drink in typical plant species of the region, unique mountain rocks as well as animal species. The routes are diverse and are all approximately 10km in length. We offer day and half day trails. Minimum of 6 people required.
