At Thorn Tree Bush Camp you get away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life, enjoy a true South African ‘braai’ under the stars with the sounds of the wild and nature surrounding you, with accommodation in one of our tented bush camps. Bush Lodge Accommodation in Dinokeng | Hammanskraal - Pretoria
Come and enjoy the tranquillity of nature, where the stars are brighter, where lion roars, jackal bark, bush babies cry, owls screeches, insects sing and so much more that can be heard at night, while you sit outside next to your fire or lay down to rest.
- Minimum stay is 2 nights over normal weekends, and 3 or 4 nights over long weekends.
- Arrival from 15:00, departure before 10:00. No day visitors. No loud noise allowed.
- Serviced during the week on request, no service over weekends except on special request

STANDS FOR BUSH TRAILERS, CARAVANS OR TENTS
Six concealed Bushveld stands (no lawn) each with its own private ablution (shower, flush toilet and wash basin), electricity, braai, and water in proximity. Each stand is separated by natural bush, shrubs and trees providing some privacy between the bush camps. There are 3 standard campsites/stands ideal for up to 6 people.
OFF GRID WILDERNESS STANDS
Limited off-grid wilderness sites are available for the more experienced and adventurous campers. You get to enjoy a truly wild adventure by camping in the unfenced area of the reserve amongst the free roaming big five, where you may encounter not only the night sounds of the bush but also a visit from our nocturnal animals, such as serval, porcupine, black-back jackal, lion, hyena, and others. This is not for the feint hearted.
All wilderness campers must be self-sufficient, with your own water, ablution requirements and solar power. No generators are permitted, and 2 porta-potties are available for rent.
