Kasselshoop's traditional cheese is produced on the Kasselman family farm, Klein Soebattersvlakte near Stilbaai on the Garden Route.
The farm is situated en-route to Stilbaai, the well know holiday resort in the Southern Cape. Here, in the heart of "fynbos" country, four generations of Kasselman's have been breeding Jersey cows known for the rich and creamy milk they produce.
Our artisan cheese makers produce award-winning traditional handcrafted cheeses. Visit our Old School @ Kasselshoop Tasting Room and enjoy various Cheese pairings with wine, port, beer, gin, chocolate, whisky, brandy, macaroons.

Kasselshoop Cheeses
- Traditional handcrafted Gouda cheese as well as white and yellow Cheddar cheese.
- Flavoured cheese: Paprika peppers, pepper, pickled onion, olive, smoked, biltong, nettle, chilli , smoked chilli pepper.
We also sell locally produced preserves such as marmalade, a selection of jams and cocktail figs along with fynbos honey, olive chutney and olive oil. Be sure to buy some of the dried olives and roasted seeds salad and vegetable sprinkle.
The Kasselshoop Cheese products are available in available in Checkers Stores countrywide as well as retail outlets, delis and also road stalls all over Western and Eastern Cape.
Find Us: Driving on the N2 between Riversdale and Albertinia, take the R305 turnoff for some 9-10 kilometres. The farm is just off the R305 on route to Still Bay.
Business Hours: Mondays – Saturdays: 09:00 – 16:30. Closed on Sundays.
