Balloch Cottages - Self Catering Accommodation and Camping with magnificent mountain views on Balloch Farm, Wartrail, Barkly East, Eastern Cape
WELCOME TO BALLOCH - THE VALLEY OF A THOUSAND VIEWS!
At BALLOCH COTTAGES guests can enjoy our camping or our self catering cottage and experience our spectacular and magical mountain scenery.
Balloch is situated in the Wartrail area of the Barkly East district in the Eastern Cape at the southern tip of Lesotho and close to Lundeans nek.
Our farm Balloch, tucked away deep in the Witteberg mountains, has been in the Frost family for 4 generations and is of the most spectacular and unique valleys you will find in South Africa if not in the world. We love to share its towering crags and abundant sandstone rock formations with our guests.
On Balloch we farm Bonsmara cattle for beef, and Dohne merino sheep for mutton and wool.
Balloch is the perfect stop over for trips into and out of Lesotho using the Telle Bridge border crossing.
