Paraglide Africa offer tandem paraglide flights in Wilderness, Sedgefield and Cape Town. Our pilots have flown over 20 000 flights and are known for giving safe and fun flights.
The most exhilarating adventure of your life can now become a reality. Experience the sensation of free flight in a paraglider while gliding gently over picturesque scenery and the gentle adrenaline rush- ask your pilot to perform acrobatic manoeuvres to ensure a memory never to be forgotten.
Paragliding is very relaxed, yet exciting adventure sport suitable to all.
We take pictures and videos during every flight and are available as an optional extra.
Flight time depends on the weather on the day, and are usually between 5 and 25 min, get in contact and we will book you in at the best possible time as shown on the weather predictions.
We aim to fly as long as possible and will only fly when we know conditions are good in order to give the best possible tandem paragliding experience.
ARRANGEMENTS
Duration: 1 hour
When: All year round, weather dependent on favorable weather conditions. Please get in touch to find out about the best time to book (call/whatsapp +27726085574).
Where: Garden Route - Map of Africa, Sedgefield, Paradise ridge and Beach Hotel. Location to be confirmed the night before or early morning via SMS, WhatsApp, phone call or email. Please check in with the office before arriving at location.
Cape Town – Signal Hill or Lions head, depending on wind direction.
Weather: Weather dependent Service. Please remember to check with our office about the weather conditions before arriving on location. We will keep all booked activities up to date if there are any changes in weather via most electronic channels.
What to Wear: Closed shoes for the gentle run at the takeoff location. Sun protection, hydration and all necessary covid protective garments
Things to bring: Sense for adventure and lots of excitement. Closed shoes for the gentle run at the takeoff location. Suitable clothing for the applicable weather on the day, but don’t stress too much as we always have extras. Sun protection, hydration, and all necessary COVID protections(*can also be supplied). Cash/card to purchase your inflight videography if not purchased upfront (*if you want them).
Guests or Spectators: Only paying guest allowed to perform activity, visitors welcome to view the activity from the start or end point.

INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS
Inclusions: Tandem Paraglide Instructor with all required equipment, safety briefings, assistance during start and landing as well as transportation back to the starting point if the landing destination is different from the start location (weather dependent).
Exclusions: - Inflight HD video and photography transferred to electronic device- Purchasable on the day for R250 (no pre-booking required) - Transportation/Transfers to and from the starting point- Get in touch to arrange a convenient solution if required.
