Emerald Cottage is a self catering accommodation facility. Conveniently situated in Cannonville, a safe and tranquil village on the banks of the beautiful Sundays River, Greater Addo.
Located only 3km from new South gate entrance also known as CAMP MATYHOLWENI, to the Addo Elephant National Park and a short walk around the corner to The Sundays River.
Never have the Elephants of the Addo Elephant National Park been so close to visit when staying at this jewel - Emerald Cottage.
Since the extension of the park in 2010 and the opening of the Addo South Gate near Colchester on the National Freeway N2, where the Cottage is located, herds of Elephants and other animals have migrated to the Southern part of the Park.
Emerald Cottage is well placed to all major Eastern Cape Game Reserves.

The Self Catering Cottage is very comfortable and cosy. Lounge /dining room / fully equipped kitchenette with undercover braai/bbq area on stoep/verandah.
WiFi and OVHD TV available. Secure Private parking behind electronic gate.
Also equipped with a security alarm. The verandah/BBQ area is a lovely space to relax with easy access between the rooms.
The Cottage is very convenient and comfortable, ideal for family visits.
Main Bedroom - The main bedroom/family room features queen bed plus single bed (with pull out for extra single) with lovely big bathroom/shower en suite.
Second Room - 2nd bedroom with double bed. En suite shower/toilet facilities.
Continental breakfast optional on prior order. Coffee, tea, rusks already supplied.
