Meet Michaela Spocter, a Grade 10 learner from Curro Meridian Pinehurst in Durbanville, Cape Town, who has once again proven that the sky is literally the limit, after clinching gold in the Under 17 high jump category at the South African High School Nationals Track and Field Championship, reaching a height of 1.75 meters.

Having shattered the existing record with a breathtaking leap of 1.73 meters at the Western Cape High School Championship, this is not just a personal victory for Michaela, but sets her reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the world of athletics.

Ian Permall, Sports Coordinator at Curro Meridian Pinehurst, expressed his pride in Michaela's achievement, stating, "Michaela's exceptional win speaks volumes about her relentless dedication and determination.
